General information


The IKOV carburetors built in the Urals motorcycles, type 2928 CE, make the enterprise possible of the engines with the basic adjustments in accordance with the data listed in the manual:

- even no-load operation rotational speeds of the engine from   650 to 800 RPM 
- harmful waste gas emissions not over CO=42 by km 
- reference value fuel consumption by 100 km: 7.8 l 
- engine temperature in the cold weather starting: over -15°

Carburetor attitude


1. The fuel level in the schwimmergehaeuse should, based on the dividing line between
   Carburetor body and schwimmergehaeuse, with an atmospheric pressure of 1.837 Mpa,
   11 + /-1 mm amount to.

2. Each carburetor must be adjusted individually in the no-load operation.

Adjust as:

The screw of the gas course so far screw in that between screw and cable one
Column of 2 to 3 mm develops

Remove a spark plug and ground the inlet.
Adjust the throttle adjusting screw in such a way that the engine runs regularly with minimum speed.

Turn the air mixture adjusting screw to the terminator point and locate the position, in which the engine works regularly.

Place with the throttle adjusting screw the minimum rotational speed, in that
the engine in the no-load operation regularly works.

 

3.  The air fuel mixture knows loads or climate for special conditions punkto by means of
     Throttle aristocracy to be adjusted.

4. The synchronous enterprise of the left and right cylinder with different modes of operation becomes
    with simultaneous lifting throttles of the right and the left cylinder reaches. If you

Carburetor maintenance
